Lacking on carnival end....

I'm really sorry I've been lacking on posting the carnival.  December slipped away from me and I went in today to the manager site and found out that I hadn't even scheduled another carnival so there were no submissions.....So I scheduled one for Feb. 1st.  I'll do my best to get one up close to that time.  Open for submissions fill out the easy carnival form here.

Because we are entering the busy time of the year and I have out-of-town company for the next few weeks our next carnival will be Dec. 6th.  I wish you all a Blessed Thanksgiving.

Error in posting schedule....

Due to my error in posting last week's carnival at the Carnival manger's site there will not be a carnival this week.  Oct. 24.  The next carnival will be posted the week of Oct. 31st.  Sorry it was my error.  I didn't receive any subscriptions because I didn't fill out the manger's site last week.  Please send in your post for next week's carnival.  you may use this form here.  Lord willing I'll be back on schedule next week.

Having problems....

We are having some technical issues with receiving carnival submissions. Sorry no carnival this week. Now that we are aware of the problem we're trying to get it corrected and hopefully we'll have the carnival back up on schedule this Monday. Thanks for your understanding. Blessed Holidays to all.

December 2008

First I wanted to let you know I have nearly all the weeks in December filled for hosts. If you're interested in hosting for any coming weeks I would love to hear from you. Yu can either leave a comment or send me an email.

Also, if you have a Blogger account I'd encourage you to follow the Homesteading Carnival so you can see when it's updated. If you don't have a blogger account sign up for the feedburner on the sidebar. Just enter in your email address and each time the blog is updated you'll get an email.

I was wondering what are some of your favourite blogs to visit that inspire or encourage you in these categories: recipes, gardening, farm animals, homemaking, baking, outdoors, sewing, tutorials, life on the homestead, etc. Oh would you mind inviting them to join the carnival by either emailing or leaving a comment with our link. ;)

Last thing is.... Can anyone believe it's already December 2008? Wow, Only another 31 days and then it will be 2009, a new year, a new chapter. Growing In Grace Magazine just published their 11th issue for the month of December, and you will want to check out some of the great articles…. interview, reviews, giveaways, tutorials, education, and spiritual encouragement!

You only have a little while to get your submission in for this week's carnival. I think I will continue the carnival for a little while longer as we seem to be getting more submissions as of late, but I'm still not sure if that means I will continue in definitely. It will help let more know about this carnival if you have the icon on your site and use social networks (like stumbleupon, twitter, etc)!

I'm pleased to announce the 69th edition of the homestead carnival has been posted. We had some technical difficulties this week because BlogCarnival is unavailable at this time. If you sent in a submission and it didn't get put in, we may not have received it. However, as soon as blogcarnival is up I will get in and the submissions and use them next week when I will be hosting the 70th Homesteading Carnival right here at Home! I hope you will join me by sending something in. The homestead carnival is basically for everything you do at your homestead. Welcome to the 68th Carnival of Homesteading. It’s that time of year…fall is here with a chill in the air, and winter stands at the door. We’ve been putting up wood. There is a comforting warmth of a wood fire that can’t be matched, and I’m so pleased we have this opportunity in our home. Dad and the kids have been busy.
